Athena staff members lead the design and development of a sophisticated sales forecasting system for the national sales force of a Fortune 500 computer hardware company (Hewlett-Packard). Responsible for all aspects of system including defining user requirements, database and GUI design, development, and implementation. The system involved gathering forecasts from three tiers of management to produce final forecasts for various product lines and the entire sales channel. Results were automatically distributed to all sales staff nationally and synchronized with the central database via dial-up connections. |
